This is quintessential island magnificence. This is best beach holiday territory, where you can relax on award-winning white sands that are hugged by the Indian Ocean. You’ll feel like you’re on your own deserted island in the Seychelles (with some five-star luxury and a possible butler thrown-in for good measure).

A low-lying archipelago nation, sand as white and soft as caster sugar fringes the islands, while otherworldly boulders rise out of the land amid leafy palm trees. It’s all about the beach and the surrounding Marine National Parks here. Don your snorkel or get your PADI license and dip beneath the surface of the crystalline ocean, with turtles, rays, nurse sharks and all manner of colourful fish flitting about between reefs and shipwrecks. This is a dreamy destination perfect for a honeymoon.

Hugh says...
"If you can draw yourself away from the beach, visit the capital, Victoria, where covered markets and a natural history museum make for an interesting day out."

Ben says...
"Seafood is king in the Seychelles, with the vast Indian Ocean at its fingertips. Here you’ll feast on grilled fish, fresh shellfish and, for dessert, abundant tropical fruits."

LGBT Rights in Seychelles

FAQs

Is Seychelles gay friendly?
It has been legal to be gay in Seychelles since 2016. In recent years Seychelles has made great strides with its equality laws and social attitudes and most citizens operate on a 'don't ask, don't tell' policy, whereby discretion is requested by all, regardless of sexuality.

Can you arrange a gay wedding in the Seychelles?
Currently, same-sex marriages and civil unions are not legally recognised by the Seychelles authorities. If you are looking for the perfect tropical wedding, get in touch and we can point you in the right direction.

Is Seychelles LGBTQ+ travel a good idea?
Boasting world-famous coral reefs and nature reserves, Seychelles attracts a lot of tourists, with large amounts of them being gay travellers. Huben travel takes pride in ensuring the hotel is prepped for your arrival to ensure a warm welcome and incredible stay.
