What's on the horizon

Upon arrival in Galway, pick up your car hire and head towards The G Hotel and Spa, to check into your Superior Room for three nights. Day two kicks off with guided visit to Galway Market, where you can try oysters to cheese, sushi to crab, doughnuts to strawberry tarts, local beers and more. After a spot of lunch at your own accord, you will spend the afternoon visiting 4 local pubs in the Connemara region accompanied by a local guide. The next morning, drive to Lahinch in County Clare for a private surfing lesson, voted one of the best places to surf in the world. For your final evening, perhaps head to the Cliffs of Moher, one of the most iconic sights in Ireland offering spectacular walks and views across the Atlantic Ocean.

Day 1

Pick up your four-day car hire from Shannon Airport or Ireland West Airport Knock and make your way to The G Hotel and Spa in Galway for a three-night stay.

Day 2

After breakfast, walk into the centre of Galway to meet your expert foodie guide for a guided tour to some of Galway's best gastronomy haunts.

Enjoy the afternoon to find a lunch venue and further explore the vibrant city of Galway. This late afternoon, head off with a local to the Connemara region of Ireland, the largest Gaeltacht (Irish-speaking region) in the country, stopping at four pubs along the way.

Day 3

This morning, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at the hotel before taking to your car and driving to the small town of Lahinch in County Clare. Here, you will meet your surfing instructor for a guided surfing lesson.

Day 4

After breakfast and check out, transfer by car back to your arrival airport and drop your car off.
