Itinerary

Day 1

Arrive at Edinburgh Waverly by train then make your way to your hotel to check-in.  head out to explore the city after, and stroll down the Royal Mile for a real feel for the city.  Its eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, pubs and bars make it the beating heart of the city, and a great place for dinner.

Day 2

Following breakfast get the most out of the city thanks to your Hop on Hop off sightseeing pass.  Head out to the Royal Botanical gardens, then back into the centre of the city to check out the Royal Palace of Holyroodhouse.  If you are feeling fit, take the short but steep hike to Arthurs Seat for a spectacular view, then head down to the Scotch Whisky Experience to warm yourself with a wee dram or two!

Day 3

Make the most of your last day in Edinburgh with a visit to the Victorian Camera Obscura attraction, founded in 1835.  Finish off your souvenir shopping as you make your way back to the station for your train home.
