Best time to go
March - November
What's on the horizon
Sip a fruity Merlot or crisp Chardonnay while watching the sunset over Napa Valley vineyards. Find the gold at the end of the rainbow in the Castro. Come join the fun. We’ll meet you in arrivals at San Francisco airport and we’ll go to town in an air-conditioned vehicle, complete with a glass of chilled sparkling Californian wine. We’ll stay three glorious nights in The Golden City, with an optional group trip over to the world-famous Castro for a night in one of the many LGBT+ bars.
We then head to Napa Valley in an air-conditioned minibus, where after getting settled in our hotel, we’ll visit our first two wineries. After that? Evening drinks in the hotel pool. Soak it all in. There are plenty of wineries to explore in Napa Valley. We’ll run minibus trips to some of them during our stay, which means you’re free to sample some of the (bottled) fruits of the land without worrying about how to drive home. Cheers!
We’ve carefully selected this itinerary to show San Francisco and Napa Valley in all its beauty. It’s ready to book and good to go. If you’d like us to adapt it and create a tailor-made trip just for you, then we’d love to help. It’s what we’re here for. Let us know what you’d like, and we’ll get planning.
Day 1- 4
Arriving at the Fairmont San Francisco by private chauffeured air-conditioned vehicle, enjoy panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge from your room. Stay three glorious nights, perhaps fit in a trip over to the world-famous Castro for a night in one of the many LGBT+ bars.
Day 4 - 7
After picking up your hire car, head to Napa Valley and the Rancho Caymus Inn, a historic boutique hotel unlike any other in wine country. There are plenty of wineries to explore in Napa Valley, easily accessible using Uber or local taxis. If you prefer we can organise private transport to take you from vineyard to vineyard, which means you’re free to sample some of the (bottled) fruits of the land without worrying about how to drive home. Cheers!
Huben holidays make the days go your way and get the nights right. We know the lay of the land and will find the perfect accommodation to make sure you sleep easy, and sleep well.
Fairmont San Francisco
High ceilings, an innovative pull-out minibar, a modern desk with built-in USB ports and bedside reading lights are featured in all rooms and suites at Fairmont San Francisco. Modern flat-screen TVs are included in each room. The luxurious marble baths feature Le Labo toiletries and plush robes. The Fairmont’s unique rooms include panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Coit Tower and the Financial District.
Rancho Caymus Inn
Nestled in the idyllic hamlet of Rutherford in Napa Valley, Rancho Caymus Inn is a historic boutique hotel unlike any other in wine country. The inn's classic California style was handcrafted using materials that were carefully dismantled from a 19th century Yorkshire Ohio barn. The exposed mortise and tenon beams, custom doors and walnut countertops are second to none.
